One of the most exciting things that event guests can experience at a brand-centered event is experiential gifting through live personalization. I had the opportunity to work with Clinique to do exactly this, as part of a special after party event -- post American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) Annual Meeting at the San Diego Convention Center.
I was hired to provide my live engraving services, personalizing the lids on their Smart Clinical Repair moisturizer.
Guests were able to request the customization of their choosing, typically a name or IG handle, and I engraved it for them live in my calligraphy style lettering.
They got to see it happen right in front of their eyes, and were beyond enamored with the whole process. Guests would take a photo of the engraving process and of their newly personalized beauty product for Instagram, and then take it home in their branded Clinique bag!
The event was such a success, I've continued to partner with Clinique for in-studio orders engraving bottles for gifts and to use as place settings for events.
