Personalized Luggage Tags for Personify Health (fka Virgin Pulse) for the Annual Employee Health Care Conference in San Diego, CA
The goals of this conference were to create brand awareness and to attract new clients. As people walked by, they could clearly see that something different was being offered. In this case, heat foiled leather luggage tags in gold calligraphy. Prior to the event, the Personify team branded the boxes that the luggage tags came in, so that guests could remember where they received their tag from, and to learn more about the brand. At the event, the guests shared their contact info and customization request through a special landing page on the platform HubSpot, which both sent the request to my email to personalize their tag, and collected the important information that the Personify team needed in order to follow up with the attendee. People could request their first or last name, or their initials, in either calligraphy style lettering or a print style. The most popular was first names in calligraphy style lettering. Needless to say, we were the most popular booth at the exhibit!

When everyone has the same bag, it's important that there's a differentiator between the bags, and what better what to do that then to have people's names lettered on them? And what a perfect way to remember the name of the person you just met who isn't wearing their name tag?! Genius on all accounts, if you ask me!
Personalized Calligraphy Postcards for Educator Conference via 9Dot
As a former educator, who took the Gallup Strength's Finder assessment many years ago, this experience was a bit of a full circle moment for me.
At this educator conference, teachers were able to take an assessment that would report on their top 5 out of a total of 34 themes. After receiving their results, I was given each staff member's name and their strengths to hand calligraph to take home with them.
This was a perfect way for the staff members to recognize their strengths, and have them on something concrete for them to display for themselves. In this digital age where it would've just remained a pdf in an email or a screenshot on a phone's photo album, this memento became incredibly special for each guest to have.
(And in case you were curious, my top strengths way back in the day were Command, Individualization, Harmony, Futuristic, and Learner. No surprises here that the calligrapher who specializes in on site personalization got "individualization" as a top strength!)
Personalized Leather Keychains for Resolver's Security Summit @ Mission Bay Resort in San Diego
With many of the people traveling into this event having unchecked bags, something small, light, and portable was the way to go with this event. Event guests were stoked to have heat foiled leather keychains customized with gold calligraphy. Keychains clip onto keys, USBs, luggage bags, and so much more -- which make them super accessible for anyone who wanted to participate in the personalization experience.
Engraved Metal Mugs for NetApp for the AFCEA West Conference @ the San Diego Convention Center
Personalized metal mugs with a carabiner for a handle? Say less. The perfect item for people to take on walks, on runs, or just anyone on the go really.
Guests made sure to stop by, and then tell everyone they knew at the conference to stop by too, to get their mugs engraved. It was the perfect way to excite current clients, and to engage with prospective customers.
Engraved Pint Glasses at Bay City Brewing in Downtown San Diego via RMD Events
No pint glass was left un-engraved at this one! Guests were able to get their pint glass personalized with names, messages, or dates in calligraphy style lettering for this private business event at a local brewery. We love an on-theme party favor!
Engraved Knives for US Foods @ the Grand Tradition Estate and Gardens in Fallbrook, CA
Never in my life did was a more concerned about leaving my fingerprints on something. Chefs, restauranteurs, farmers, and more were invited to a culinary experience at this San Diego based venue. Guests were gifted a high quality set of steak knives that they could get personalized live on site. The experience paired perfectly with the carving stations that were also set up around the room for guests to enjoy.
